SESAME TUNA KEBABS
Ingredients
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 ½ pounds tuna steak, cut into 2-3” cubes
2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes
1 small red bell pepper, cut into 2” pieces
1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into 2” pieces
2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your grill to 450 degrees and oil the grates. If you are using wooden skewers, soak them for at least 1 hour in water so they do not burn on the grill.
Combine the soy sauce, hoisin, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a large bowl or ziplock bag and whisk to combine. Add the tuna, tomatoes, and peppers to the marinade and stir to full coat everything in the bag. Let marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Thread the tuna on the skewers alternating them with the veggies to make a good variety on each skewer. Reserve any leftover marinade and microwave for 2 minutes.
Place the skewers on the hot grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes and then flip and cook for 2-3 minutes on the second side until grill marks for and the veggies are lightly charred.
Serve over rice and garnish with chopped parsley. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the tops. Devour!!
