OOEY GOOEY SLOPPY SLIDERS
Ingredients
1 ¼-½ pounds 80/20 ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 gloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Dish off the Block Ciao Bella Italian Spice Blend
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
3 tablespoons brown sugar, divided
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, divided
¼ cup water
2 packages Kings Hawaiian slider buns (or any slider buns to fill a 9” x 13” pan)
16 slices American cheese
⅓ cup dill pickle slices
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook the ground beef with the onions and garlic in a large skillet, breaking the meat up with a spatula until it is cooked through. Drain any excess liquid and fat from the pan.
Add the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard to the pan. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in the water and set aside.
Cut the slider buns in half crosswise and place the bottom layer in the bottom of a 9” x 13” pan. Place 8 slices of the cheese on top of the bread. Cover the cheese evenly with the meat mixture and top with the pickles and the remaining 8 slices of cheese. Place the top layer of slider rolls on top of the cheese.
Combine the melted butter with the remaining tablespoon each of the Worcestershire, brown sugar, and Dijon. Brush this mixture all over the tops of the rolls. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until toasty and ooey gooey melted. Cut into individual sliders and devour!
