I was chosen as 1 of 30 bloggers to compete in the Miller’s Sweet and Spicy Banana Pepper Sauce Blogger Recipe Challenge! The challenge is to really think outside of the box and create new recipes highlighting their delicious banana pepper sauces in entrees and appetizers.
Friday night is pizza night in our house and we love to experiment with different flavors which made this the perfect opportunity to test out the Miller’s Sweet and Spicy Banana Pepper Sauce on a pie and it was ahhhmazing!!! Peaches on pizza? Heck ya! They really brought out the sweet notes in the banana pepper sauce! I balanced everything with layers of flavor – herby cheese, savory steak, salty bacon, sweet peaches, peppery arugula, spicy banana pepper sauce, and hot honey is a flavor explosion in every amazing bite!!
Here’s how I made it! Note – you can also scroll to the bottom of this post to skip to the full recipe or click on the photos in this post which will link you to the recipe page as well.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
Form the pizza dough into a 12-14” round and place it on the prepared pan.
Crumble the soft herb cheese onto the pizza dough, leaving about ½” of the crust exposed. Top evenly with the sliced beef, bacon, and peaches. Drizzle the banana pepper sauce all over and top with the mozzarella and parmesan.
Drizzle half of the olive oil all over the top including the exposed crust.
Bake for 10 minutes and then drizzle with the remaining olive oil, including the crust. Bake for 4-5 minutes more until browned and bubby.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes. Top with the pickled onions and arugula. Drizzle with more olive oil and hot honey. Cut into slices and DEVOUR!
