BANANA BLONDIE BROWNIES

Ingredients

1 cup butter, melted (2 sticks)

1 ½ cups light brown sugar, packed

2 eggs

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

2 cups flour

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon baking powder

2 large very ripe bananas, mashed with a fork (1 cup)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line a 9” x 13” baking dish with parchment paper.

Combine the butter and brown sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.  Mix with the paddle attachment until combined.  Add the eggs and vanilla and mix again until smooth.

Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and bananas to the bowl and mix until a smooth batter forms.  Add the chocolate chips and mix until just combined.  Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until set in the center.   Let cool for at least 30 minutes.  Slice into squares and devour!!
